CITRUS CLOWNS- CLOWNING AROUND - ALL WORK & GREAT FUN !
Performed several dances. Yar ,The Jester and Clown Zani worked their magic with sculpturing balloons. Clown Jewels painted faces for the children. We gave out hundreds of cute stickers, the beautiful artsy balloons and small giveaways, so the children had fun with we clowns and were happy. The Chamber provided a donation for Citrus Clowns performing commercial/community clowning for their festival. Thanks to the Dunnellon Chamber of Commerce and Beverly !
The Cooter Festival in Inverness , with 2 full days of clowning were next. Clowns performed in our red tent and also, strolled through the crowds. The clown tent display was of a Halloween theme, cute, not scary, Citrus Clowns do not do scary ! All clowns were costumed with a Halloween theme, as this was Halloween weekend. Saturday, clowning were : Sunny (aka Vicky Iozzia ) and her puppet boys Big Sunny and Little Sunny, who were dressed in their Halloween costumes, as was Clown Sunny, who looked really snazzy in her costume , huge clown shoes and cute hat with a huge flower. Clown Zany Bandani was so beautiful in her very stylish Auguste` clown costume and red hair. Thanks to the newspaper photographer who took her photo and displayed it in the local newspaper and on their website. The photo was of Clown Zani blowing big bubbles for the children, and a boy watching her. Clown Martie was decked out in a nice , colorful costume with a purple hat, she loves strolling through the crowds, way to go Martie ! Clown Yar, The Pirate, looked great costumed in his swashbuckling pirate outfit, he stayed busy brandishing his pirate (play) sword and sculpturing balloons. Especially, the black shirt , striped pants, and black pirate mustache gave him a complete pirate “look”. Zani also, sculptured balloons and enjoyed dancing for the crowds. Jewels The Clown danced , did the bubbles and face painted. Jewels was a clown witch, complete with green hair and elegant , green and orange costume, with a fancy witch hat. All clowns gave free stickers and lollipops and small giveaways to the children and adults who wanted them.
