After arrest by police, FEMEN activists were given out to a group of unknown people, who mocked the girls.

FEMEN activists Aleksandra Nemchinova, Inna Shevchenko and Oksana Shachko gave a press conference in Kyiv today. The activists abducted in Belarus after a topless performance near the KGB headquarters, where they shouted “Long live Belarus!” and raised a poster “Freedom to political prisoners!”

Aleksandra Nemchinova said new details of what happened after the arrest:

“We held a performance in front of the KGB headquarters in Minsk on December 19. We did it. Everything was fine, we managed to run away. We think they allowed us to go because they wanted to arrest us later, in the absence of press. We bought tickets to Homel to go to Bryansk from there.

Unknown people, six men, came to us at the bus station at about 5:55 pm. They said they were officers of the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The girls were ordered to get in a silver Gazel car, I was taken into a black Mercedes. After 15 or 20 minutes, I was ordered to get into a grey Alfa Romeo. Then we were brought together. They were riding us around Minsk till 6:30. We asked to take to a police station, but they said we would remain in the car as long as they wanted.
