Nicole Scherzinger was apparently held at gunpoint when filming her latest music promo for single, Try With Me .
According to The Sun , Scherzinger's 4x4 was surrounded by a dozen balaclava-clad men with machine guns as she headed to her video set in the Xilitla rainforest via the drug-ridden mountains of Mexico.
It is thought that the gang ripped apart The X Factor USA judge's bullet-proof vehicle which she had been travelling in with choreographer Brian Friedman , and was only saved when local police arrived to the scene.
A friend of the Poison hitmaker revealed: "Nicole and everyone in the car were terrified. There was lots of screaming and shouting. They thought their time might be up."
