Bandit 'got high' after hold-up
AFTER allegedly pulling a rifle on a schoolgirl and stealing cash, Bradley Thomas Kuhl went home and got high in front of the TV.
The 21-year-old appeared before Rockhampton Magistrates Court charged yesterday with the armed robbery of the Oaks service station in Yeppoon on October 22.
He also faced offences relating to a burglary on October 19.
Altogether he was charged with entering premises with intent, receiving tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possession of a drug utensil.
Kuhl's father sat in the public gallery of the court when his son applied for bail.
He was not required to enter a plea.
Police prosecutor Karen Dunham said Kuhl and his accomplice entered the service station wearing balaclavas and armed with rifles.
Kuhl allegedly pointed his rifle at a 17-year-old schoolgirl and ordered her to take a bag he handed her.
Ms Dunham said she then gave it to a fellow female employee, who Kuhl allegedly ordered to put cash from the till in the bag.
