Final week to adopt a family in need
There’s still time to Share Your Christmas with a family in need in Christian County. Call or email Least Of These no later than Dec. 12 and help bring the joy of Christmas to a child or senior in need. Without this program these families will not be having the kind of Christmas most of us take for granted.
There were a total of 519 families with 1,100 children and 90 seniors who applied for assistance in just four weeks. While the majority of families have been taken care of through adoptions or Angel Tree programs, there are still 84 children and 20 seniors who need adopted.
Least Of These will provide a copy of the family’s application which includes their reason for needing help, wish list for the child or the senior and instructions about the adoption process. You can make arrangements directly with the family, or if you prefer to remain anonymous, you can deliver presents to Least Of These no later than Dec. 12. Whatever you are able to give will be greatly appreciated by these families.
